Hunter -- WestKill ( Devil's Path )

This hike takes place on the Devil's path in the Catskills. Hike starts on Rte 214 and it ends on Spruceton Rd. Since this hike is a linear hike, there should be least one car at both ends.
At Rte 214, take the Devil's Path which is denoted by the Red marker. Approximately 2 miles ( 3.22 km ), the Devil's Path intersects with Hunter Mtn trail which is denoted by a Yellow Marker. Take this trail to the peak of Hunter Mtn. As you return to the Devil's Path, there is an option view of the Catskill on the right where it intersects with Becker Hollow trail (B).
From the intersection of the Devil's Path and Hunter Mtn trail, continue on the Devil's Path. Within .88 miles ( 1.41 km ), there will be two interesting spots. The first one is the path to Southwestern Hunter and the last is Geiger Point. At Geiger Path there is a great of view of Southwestern Hunter. Continue 1.5 miles ( 2.41 km ) to the bottom of Hunter Mtn.
At the bottom of Hunter Mtn, there is great waterfall. Take the bridge that crosses the waterfall, and continue to take the Devil's Path. At 1.23 miles ( 1.93 km ) there is great cave to explore. Continue on the Devil's Path, and there is a viewpoint on Westkill is at 2 miles ( 3.2 km ) from the waterfall. Continue on the Devil's Path until it hits Spruceton Rd.
