Περιγραφή πορείας

A little known part of the Chouf cedar reserve is Jbaa, Chouf. the reason for this is its sparse trees and mostly highland rock & dirt landscape; which, in my own humble opinion, has its own charm.
The trail is the Hajal (partridge) trail with a major off the trail section. The great thing about this trail is the views you get from an 1850 ASL elevation. It was a sunny clear day that gave us an unobstructed views from Syria, Bekaa Valley, and the Mediterranean.
The waether was hot and it was the first time ever that I run out of water (make sure you have 4 - 5 Liters of water).
all in all it was a great trail; if I have to do it again, I would not venture down hill off the trail far; climbing back up was a stretch.
